Where are you located?

- I am located in Pierce County, Washington State. With base access to local military bases like Joint Base Lewis McChord. Certified to work in  hospitals close by in Tacoma, Lakewood, Lacey, Olympia.

What exactly is a Doula?

- During labor, a Doula may provide emotional, practical and informational support to their client(s), adapting per the needs of the individual. A doula is able to offer help and suggestions on comfort measures such as breathing, relaxation, movement and positioning.

Is a Doula able to prescribe medication?

- No. A Doula will be able to give alternate methods of pain and stress relief, such as breathing and relaxation techniques, laboring positions, massage, etc.
